Geronimo is a game of strategy and a study of form. It is a contemporary chess set defined by clarity and reduction.
The name honors the Apache hero, who outmatched superior force through a calculated reading of his opponent. It also marks the point of commitment: the transition from mental weight to physical intent.
Each piece is machined from solid aluminum and set with a machined steel drop weight, ensuring every physical move is met with the same gravity the game bestows upon its players. Both forms hold an anodized finish, leaning toward a natural dark and light gray.
We're building toward a limited pre-order run — at least 50 orders, enough to responsibly enter production without compromising on quality, materials, or process.

Geronimo is a collaborative project among friends based in Los Angeles. Tyler Anderson (Sample Studio), Zach Leung, Alex Tan, and Ben Mingo (MOUTHWASH Studio) wanted to create a set worth playing with.
Manufactured in Shenzen, China. Designed and headquartered in Los Angeles, California.
